Help Me Make it to the Twin Cities!

I am absolutely stoked about the convention. I watch the news, go to the local meetings, and browse the blogosphere, and everyone is getting ramped for what is going to be an amazing, powerful, important, and successful National Convention.
So am I. As the final days are drawing near, I find myself poised to jump into the convention, both feet and start spreading the word that the young, the conservative, and the TEXAN voice is not silenced, but strong and energetic.
I want to thank you all for your help, your encouragement, and your support. I have one more thing to ask of you. These events aren’t cheap. As I understand it, it will cost my guests (parents) and me, about $5,000 to successfully attend the convention. Recent financial constraints have put me in a very tumultuous situation making it difficult, although not impossible, for me to make it out there.
